🚔 Leyton & Grove Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team – Weekly Update

Your local Leyton & Grove Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team has been working hard to keep our community safe and supported.

✅ Officers assisted the Parking Enforcement Team in recovering a vehicle with £16,000 of outstanding debt linked to unpaid parking fines — ensuring accountability and supporting wider community services.

🌳 We also held a community engagement event at Coronation Gardens E10, working alongside the ASB Team to provide crime prevention advice, listen to concerns, and speak directly with residents about local issues.

👮‍♂️ Proactive policing continues:

One foot pursuit resulting in the arrest of an individual who had failed to appear at court for burglary, theft, and two drug assessment.

One arrest for Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent.

Multiple stop and searches conducted in one of our hotspots for ASB and drug use, location St Mary's Church E10.
